Ingredients: 100% Chia Seed (Salvia hispanica L.)

Suggested Use: Mix one (1) scoop (15 g) of Chia seeds into 8 oz of liquid. Shake or stir briskly for one minute to evenly suspend the seeds. Let mixture settle for 5 minutes to allow seeds to soften, then sip this heart healthy, highest plant source of Omega-3 supplement, which also assists bowel function and regularity. Follow with and additional 8 oz of liquid.

They don't have that fishy aftertaste that I sometimes noticed in flax seed. They are very good in morning cereal, juice and especially mixed in lemonade, which it turns out is a popular Mexican drink. If you're not sure, just give them a try. August 9, 2012

I love the little pop and crunch of the seeds when I chew them! (You can also grind them first before adding to release even more of their fabulous nutrition.) Chia seeds are extremely healthy for you. We use them in our morning breakfast shake (and alternate days with sunflower, sesame, flax, or pumpkin seeds): In a quart mason jar, put 2 to 4 raw organic eggs, 1 scoop protein powder, 1/4 can coconut milk, 1 tsp. psyllium husks, and 1 Tbsp. of the above seeds, then fill in with some water and use the hand blender. DELICIOUS and filling! December 10, 2010
