My husband and I have an investigations business, and I also work part-time in my hair salon.
My Family
I love my family, so I enjoy spending time with my husband (Dean), two daughters and their fellas, (Jeberly & Scott) and (Winter & Dylan). Jeberly & Scott have recently blessed us with a granddaughter (Jacee Sue) to spoil. Winter & Dylan are expecting twins in July. We have a dog, KoKo (miniature dachshund) and granddogs – Jocee (miniature pinscher), Colada (boxer/shepherd) & Dozer (pit-bull). I enjoy playing video games (PS3 & Wii), playing online games and board games with family (Dean and I are currently working on developing a card game), singing karaoke online and decorative home painting. I enjoy taking scenery photos, especially photos of the moon with trees and waterfalls. My favorite way to spend my free time is to get lost in a video game. It is therapy for me to play games, I forget what is going on in my life for that time, and it helps relieve some stress.
My Health Regimen
I start out every morning taking supplements to boost my energy, and I end my day by taking supplements that help me slow down and get some rest. I am a disciplined person, so I work out at home. I have enough videos to rent them out! I usually ride my stationary bike 2 times a week for an hour at a time. When the weather is nice, I walk outside for an hour. The other workouts that I do involve, Pilates, stretching, and light weights, which I try to do 3 to 4 times a week when time allows. I do not drink any type of soft drinks; I drink black tea or coffee in the morning, and the rest of the day and evening I only drink water. I recently discovered that we have a Migun center close by, so I try to get on the Migun massage bed at least one to three times a week.
Discovering Natural Health & Wellness
I first became interested in supplements when I quit smoking. I was looking for something that might help with my mood and weight gain that occurred when I quit that nasty habit. That was almost 16 years ago, now the supplements most important to me are ones to help with energy and to slow down the aging process. I have found some to help with the energy, but none to get rid of those wrinkles!!
One Supplement I’d Hate to Be Without
Trying to narrow down my supplement intake to just one is very difficult, since I switch around 15 different supplements that I take on a daily basis. I can narrow it down to two. I take these two together: Swanson’s N-Zimes Dairy and Swanson’s Full Spectrum N-Zimes, which I take before dinner.
Sharing the Wellness
When a family member or friend talks about a health issue they might have, I give them several suggestions depending on what their health concern might be. I have spent countless hours researching different supplements and trying several different types of supplements to see what works for me. I always direct people to Swanson Vitamins due to the variety they carry and their prices, but what really perks their interest to try Swanson’s is their return policy.
One Thing to Help Make the World a Better Place
In terms of a better place to live with fellow humans, I would have to say to take the time to be kind to others without judging what they do with their life; what might be good for you may not be good for someone else.
Choosing Swanson
I received a Swanson Vitamins catalog in the mail many years ago, and the rest was history. I have tried numerous supplements over the years, and I always come back to Swanson supplements. Swanson Vitamins carries several different companies to choose from and the prices are better than any other company I have purchased from. In terms of the Swanson brand, the quality is better than some and equal to other major brand names without the big prices. I have more Swanson brand supplements in my cabinet than any other brand. Besides the quality and prices of Swanson products, I have been very pleased with the service I have received all of these years. I have had very few problems with a wrong order etc., but I have always received excellent customer service, and that is something very hard to find these days. Also, you cannot find a better return policy anywhere.
