I take brewer's yeast in order to get more vitamin B and zinc into my body. I like that it's not fortified.

Save Money
I researched nutritional yeasts on-line, and found that Lewis Labs had one of, if not, the best nutritional yeasts on the market.
I purchased a 1 pound can for ~$17 plus tax at my local Sunflower Market, I like the product but I thought the price was way too high. So I went online to Swanson's vitamins and found 1 pound cans for $11.65 +5 dollars shipping; By ordering two 1 pound cans (+5 dollars shipping) I was able to save about $8.50 over Sunflower Market’s price for two 1 pound cans plus tax.
Then I found that Swanson's now has a 2 pound (32 ounce) can for $19.99 +5 dollars shipping which saves me approximately $12 over buying two1 pound cans at Sunflower Market. Now that's a great deal!
And speaking of Swanson's Vitamins, I have been purchasing from them for several years and their quality and accuracy in servicing their customers is excellent.

My Favorite Brewers Yeast
I purchase the Lewis Lab product because it is non GMO, and to the best of my knowledge, it is the only Brewers Yeast that specifically is grown on sugar beets.

Savory
Hard to know if I get a nutritional boost, tho I beleeve so. The taste in soups or broth or sauce is excellent when mixed with hi quality soy sauce. The two products, yeast and soy sauce, form a synergy of savory taste.

Great Yeast Product
Tastes good/great (I mix with coconut oil on toast). Nutrient profile is superior to other products.

Very good
Some would say very good, for yeast. It may be an acquired taste for some, but this one lives up to its description as being mild and slightly nutty tasting. I eat it plain and dry sometimes, with plenty of water to wash it down, as it is very absorbant.
I compared the nutrition/amino values listed on the side to the Solgar brand that I was just finishing up, and found some differences that may make a difference as to whether someone chooses this brand or another.

Best Tasting Yeast
Adds delicious malted flavor to fruit smoothies as well as super nutrition. Include spirulina and coconut oil with a little stevia and you have a delicacy.
