A Very Gentle Soap The reason I love this soap so much is that it never leaves my skin dry. I live in a semi-arid region and dry skin is always a problem, but this soap cleans gently and I rarely have to use lotion for dry skin. May 18, 2013

Kiss my face The reason I gave this soap such a low rating is because when it gets wet, it's unlike any other soap I've seen, it falls apart and is gooey. The only things I like about it is the fact that it's natural and it smells good April 20, 2013

Like the original! For those of us brought up either in the Mediterranean area or by grand/parents who were, it's difficult finding some of their really great products. This soap is still made in Greece and follows the original way of making it. So happy Swanson continues to carry it. April 8, 2013

Nice soap This soap is pretty nice. Not drying, reasonable price. I've had other soaps that last longer, but this one is okay in that respect. Only criticism is that it does smell faintly of olive oil. My husband didn't notice, but I did. Not really a pretty smell, not a bad smell, just faintly salad like. I have bought this more than once, and I'm very picky, so overall, I would give it a thumbs up. November 12, 2012
Great Soap-too big Absolutely love this soap.... except for one little issue... the bar is too big to handle... so have to cut it in half to handle... Otherwise the most moisturizing bar soap ever, effective, no residue and softens skin October 17, 2012
Terrific value, very large bars For many years, my wife and I used "Oliva" - olive oil soap manufactured by the Cretan Abea cooperative. Recently, we have been unable to find it so switched to the Kiss My Face brand. The Kiss My Face pure olive oil soap lathers very well. A minor downside is that each bar has sharp edges and very sharp corners that can scratch skin but that sharpness wears down after the first couple of showers.The main issue is that the bars are BIG. They are so big, in fact, that the bars are rather difficult to hold even though I have fairly large hands. The solution is to cut the bar in half. For that, I use a large kitchen knife and a cutting board. Applying equal, smooth pressure, the knife goes through the soap quite easily but there's always a bit at the bottom that fractures off. Of course, we could purchase smaller bars but then you lose the considerable cost advantage. For now, we'll stick to buying the large bars. Overall, the soap is excellent value for money, lathers well and is easily cut into manageable sizes. October 12, 2012

Smells horrible and gave me a rash This soap smells horrible, and the nasty smell stays with you a little after showering. My fiance said he felt he needed to take another shower just to get the smell off. Also, it broke me out in a rash. I was not for sure it was this soap that caused the rash, but I did not use it for several days to test it. When I used it again I broke out in an itchy rash. April 15, 2012

Liked it I like the smell it's very natural and I feel really clean without scrubbing too much. I have very oily skin and scalp and it has been helpful since I have to use less time/product to obtain a clean feeling. This bar is BIG and very hard. I tried cutting in pieces and didn't achieve good results. Next time I'll try microwaving first as some ppl suggested. I will keep using. March 13, 2012

Great Bar of Soap You won't be unhappy with this bar of soap. It is a great value; as it is a really big bar of soap when it arrives and last a long time. Just make sure to store it in a tray that drains as it likes to retain water and get soft. Love this product for my winter dry skin. February 7, 2012
its ok This soap does not produce enough lather for me as regular soap, so I don't feel as clean. It is also big, so its kinda hard to use unless you cut it. My daughter told me I smelled like olive oil, which is fine. Im not saying other people wont like it, but its just not for me. February 3, 2012
Great product The only thing I do not care for is I can smell the olive oil which I am not fond of. It does go away soon though. It makes your skin so soft and you can even wash your hair with it and it is soooo shiny. Great product... October 6, 2011
Great, Valuable Bar of Soap This soap has a light, pleasant fragrance that is suitable for men or women. It leaves skin soft and cleansed. It is gentle on the skin and doesn't have a bunch of harsh chemical additives. This is a large bar, so I cut it in half and it worked fine. I definitely recommend.
