Natural and truly fragrance free I've used this soap daily for over two decades. It is truly natural and fragrance free. It takes the oil off my oily face but does not dry it out. Swansons is one of the most reasonably priced places to buy this soap. There are cheaper soaps, and soaps that make less of a mess but I am not going to use them. It is army green and occasionally, if you aren't careful, you are going around with flecks of it on your face. It gets soft and makes a mess in the soap dish. Overall it's still the best for me. Soap vs. cleansers. I don't believe that soap is necessarily bad for you. Cleansers don't get the oil off my face. They often deposit moisturizer that I don't need. This soap is gentle. I think it is ph balanced. It doesn't leave a film on your face, it doesn't leave your face tight and leaves no irritation. It's not necessarily soap that is the problem, it's the formulation of the soap. I have been using this for decades, am fifty and have hardly any wrinkles. My skin isn't dry either. May 6, 2012

Excellent Bar Soap No strong smell and only natural ingredients. This bar has a 0 toxicity rating on EWG's Skin Deep website. Cleans my skin well without drying it out too. Will never buy any other soap. Love it! December 10, 2011
