Original Coco Castile
Best Natural Soap Bar
Kirk's is all natural soap. They have added no
chemicals of any kind. It is the best cleaning bar
soap I have found. Most all natural soaps are
$4.00+ per bar so Kirk's is a deal.

This soap makes tons of thick lather. I use it instead of shaving cream for shaving.

Use this all the time
I like this bar soap. Safe and simple. This is all I buy for the shower.

this is the first non-handmade soap that didn't dry my skin. Nice, fresh scent, clean feeling.
Due to shipping fees and taxes it is too expensive to import to Europe - but if I ever move back to the US, I'll use this :)

Love This Soap!
Kirk's Original Coco Castile is the best soap ever made. It lathers like crazy but rinses off clean. One bar last a whole month. I have nothing but good things to say about this product. Swansons has the best price I've seen for this soap.

Best Soap In The World?
Kirk's Castile is one the purest and best soaps one can buy. It costs around the same as the common commercially available soaps but has only natural ingredients it it. It cleans extremely well and rinses off easily. I used it one day as a shampoo and it worked great. Now I only use Kirk's Castile and coconut oil on my hair and body replacing all the chemical laden products we used to buy and use.

gets right to it
When you need to strip the oil and dirt off, this is the one. Absolutely no residue left behind. I don't use it all the time because it is a bit drying, to my already dry skin, but when you're been out in the garden sweaty and pretty dirty, its the only way to really get clean!

This is a good soap. I use it to make homemade liquid laundry soap for my family . It works well and is gentle on our skin and it's a great money saver too. Here's the recipe if you would like to try it.
3 pints hot water
1/3 bar Coco Castille Soap or any bar soap you want
1/2 cup Super Washing Soda (not baking soda)
1/2 cup 20 Mule Team Borax
2 gallon bucket
1 quart hot water
Mix finely grated bar soap in large sauce pan with 3 pints hot water over low heat until dissolved. Do not boil ! Then stir in Super Washing Soda and Borax. Stir until thickened. Remove from heat. Add 1quart hot water to your 2 gallon bucket. Add soap mixture and stir well. Fill up bucket with additional water, stirring as you add until you are 2-3 inches from the top. Mix well. Set aside for 24 hours until mix thickens. Use 1/2 cup per load.
I usually make a double batch in a 5 gallon pail and leave a good 5-6 inches from the top when I fill in with water. Also I use 1/2 bar Coco Castille and 1/2 bar Yardley Lavender for sanitizing and double everything else that goes in as well. This makes quite a bit of soap.It has a nice smell too that's not over powering but you can use whatever works for your situation. Remember to shake well before you use as it does tend to separate a bit.

Great soap! Made without harsh chemicals and toxic ingredients. It lathers and moisturizes enough to shave with. Lasts a long time and priced just right.

Kirk's Original Coco Castile
I was not at all impressed. Would not buy again. I like fragrance and it had nothing....

This is a great product. I have sensitive skin and sensitivity to odors. However, from the minute I took it out of the wrapper to using it for the first time and beyond, all I can say is, yes, thank you. Excellent price, too.

the best for $ but buy the right one
If you want the longer lasting bars you must get this one which is kir001. kir002 is the unscented and only lasts about half as much which is about 11 showers for me. Kir001 lasts about 21 showers as i bought the wrong bars and noticed the difference. Other than that, this is great soap I've been using for 20 years and everyone I have recommended it to has become a convert. No scent, washes clean, and now the low swanson price to boot. Only issue is it can be a little drying in colder, drier months which is what coconut oil is for.

I love everything about this soap: the way it lathers up thickly, the clean smell, and the way it rinses clean. I will definitely buy more when I run out.

In love with a soap?
Yes! This is simply a pleasure to use! Lathers well, feels luxurious, smells just plain clean. I could inhale the scent all day! Doesnt dry out my skin, just makes it feel soft and comfortable. The value is great and you can use it on your face (my husband will sometimes use it as shampoo on his super short hair). Its so gentle that I am comfortable bathing my cat with it (of course he gets his own bar!) It doesnt last as long as other bars of soap, 4-5 days at most. But thats no big deal to me.

If you try Kirk's Original Coco Casttile you will never want anything else. It's that good. It lathers well and doesn't leave a slimy residue on your skin like a lot of those other soaps. You won't even have to leave home to get it. Just purchase it here with the good folks at Swanson.

one of my all-time favourite things
I first tried this soap when Restoration Hardware used to carry it, several years ago, and I was instantly hooked. It is nothing short of amazing! Rich lather, very gentle and not at all drying, rinses easily leaving behind soft, clean skin. I have very sensitive, reactive skin, but I can even use this soap on my face and it works great.
I tell people about this soap at every opportunity - it's THAT good!
