Neuro-Optimizer is nutrition for the brain, combining CDP choline (cytidine 5'-diphoscholine, also known as citicoline), phosphatidylserine, alpha lipoic acid, acetyl L-carnitine, L-glutamine and taurine to enhance brain metabolism and antioxidant protection. Citicoline (CDP-choline) is a naturally occurring, water-soluble biological compound that is an essential intermediate for the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, a major constituent of the gray matter of brain tissue (30%). It also promotes brain metabolism by enhancing the synthesis of acetylcholine and restoring phospholipids.

Does what it says on the tin First of all, I would like to state that I am quite cynical and doubtful of product claims of any sort, and am only too happy to mercilessly criticize even well received products. However, I can happily say that this stuff really helps to cut through the fog, especially on those oh so long afternoons at work. Don't be put off by the price, you get what you pay for here. Great for every day absent-mindedness Based on a recommendation from my well-educated aunt, I began taking this supplement. After about 2 weeks, I noticed my absent-mindedness seemed to lessen and I was able to recall things a lot more easily, and right now I am only taking half the recommended dosage (am working up to the full dosage).
