stronger than what I'm used to I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 because I felt like 100mg is a higher dose than what I need. Jarrow makes a 50mg pill in the blue bottle that I had been using, but I mistakenly bought the wrong product. I started taking 5-HTP on the regular about a year ago to try to help regulate my sleep and moods, and I've noticed a definite improvement. I used to take the 50mg in the morning with my breakfast and vitamins, but I can't do that with the 100mg because it makes me a little sleepy, so I take it at night. December 26, 2010
