This essential oil formula also features almond oil to moisturize hair along with olive oil, coconut oil and castor oil. Great for backpacking and traveling, this bar soap works into a luxurious lather and rinses cleanly. Because it is not a liquid, each bar offers the approximate number of usages as a 24 ounce bottle of most modern shampoos. 100% biodegradable. No animal testing or animal products. No preservatives.

Contains: Hemp Oil and Almond Oil.

Also Contains: Olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, fresh pure New Hampshire spring water, sodium hydroxide (a binder) with NO FRAGRANCE ADDED.

Eh This product didnt impress me, it left my hair really oily especially at the scalp.It feels like your wearing the shampoo after the hair dries. It does last long but thats the only advantage... April 14, 2013
My scalp did not like this bar shampoo... I wanted to love this product because I like the idea of a shampoo in soap form. Plus I heard that hemp seed oil is great for moisturizing the scalp... but my scalp did not react well to this "shampoo". It smelled great, but it irritated my sensitive scalp! (Dryness and itchines... aargh!) So I'm using this as a regular soap for my body instead. If you have a sensitive scalp like me, it's better just to use essential oils themselves (hemp seed/tea tree/lavender) or vinegar with lemon juice. Everything else will irritate! April 5, 2013
terrific shampoo/soap WE've never used this type of shampoo before. I have been looking for something without the Sodium Laurel Sulfates. This does a beautiful Job. Takes a little getting used to, as there is not much lathering, but that is because it does not contain all the garbage. I have very long wavy/ curly hair so I still need a conditioner. Husband does not need conditioner, and he has a little longer hair than most men these days. It looks great after blow drying. February 28, 2013
