A traditional drawing salve, PRID is an all natural approach to healing boils, blisters, and for helping raise splinters, thorns, and ingrown hairs out form under the skin. For over 50 years, PRID has been an important tool in the work bench and family medicine chest.

Ingredients: Acidum Carbolicum 2x HPUS, Ichthammol 2x HPUS (Ictio Sufona de Amonio), Arnica Mont 3x HPUS, Calendula Off 3x HPUS, Echinacea Ang 3x HPUS, Sulphur 12x HPUS, Hepar Sulph 12x HPUS, Silicea 12x HPUS, Rosen, Beeswax, Petrolatum, Stearyl Alcohol, Methyl & Propyl Paraben.

Directions: Wash affected area with hot water, dry and apply PRID twice daily on clean bandage or gauze. Do not squeeze or pressure irritated skin area. After irritation subsides, repeat application once a day for several days. Children under two years, consult a physician.

CAUTION: If symptoms persist for more then a week or worsen, of if fever occurs, contact a licensed healthcare professional. Do not use on broken skin. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

Very Good Drawing Salve I think this is a very good drawing salve. It is thick and can be hard to use, but here is a tip: carefully run very warm water over the small tin before you open it and it will heat up the salve inside and make it easier to smooth on your skin. April 11, 2012

Calms acne bumps I have used this when I feel a cystic bump or other acne pimple coming on. I apply it after washing my face, then cover with a bandage overnight. It seems to calm the redness and swelling and pain. After several nights the acne bump either goes away or it comes to a white head. It's a great product! September 14, 2010
