Tuna Salad with Raw Organic Almonds

Swanson Healthy Recipe Tuna Salad with Raw Organic Almonds
  • 2 (5.3 oz) cans of Raincoast Solid White Albacore Tuna No Salt Added, drained well
  • 2-3 tablespoons red onions, minced
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated reduced-fat cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Swanson Raw Organic Almonds, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (more depending on taste)
  • 4 to 6 large tomatoes or 8 to 12 slices of buttered rye bread

In a large bowl, mix first 7 ingredients and add mayonnaise to moisten into a spreadable filling. Cut an "X" into the top of a large tomato without cutting all the way through it, and stuff tuna salad into the created opening. As an alternative, serve on grilled rye bread. Cut in half and serve with a pickle spear.
