Great treat
My Maine Coon loves the Halo freeze dried chicken. This was the only food he was anxious to eat when he wasn't feeling well recently. I'm going to use it to teach him tricks. He'll do anything for it. On the other hand, my tabby doesn't like it, but she doesn't like treats.

Not quite what I expected
One cat who loves treats will not touch these, the other cat will but not with a lot of excitement.
The dog will eat them but prefers biscuits.
I would not buy them again.

Dogs & Cats Both Love!
Great quality and my pets are crazy about this stuff. My only complaint is that all my pets are seniors with dental issues, and at least half of the treats in the jar are so rock-hard that no one can chew them. They only want the soft, tender pieces, and there just aren't enough of those to go around. Now I give the soft pieces to my cats for their daily treat while the dogs are outside. Then I pulverize the rest and sprinkle on top of the dogs' food, which encourages them to eat their dinner. Everybody's happy but me, since I have to do lots of extra work.

Our Pets' favorite treat....
We have 5 cat-children who all love the freeze dried chicken bits from Halo....One cat, in particular, goes berserk meowing and pacing when treat time is near. We can't be without this product and the best price is at Swanson...!!!!!

Halo Chicken treats
Love these treats. My 3 cats love these treats as well. Good price. I will always get these for my pets as they are excellent and Swanson has them for such good prices.

Best Treats
I have tried various brands of freeze dried treats and my cat kids prefer these over any other brand! However, they are pretty pricey at local pet supply retailers. The sale price Swanson offers them for is a super value and you will not find a lower price anywhere. My big maine coons give it a 5 paws approval!

disappointingly stale
My cats love these chicken treats, but the last couple of batches I have ordered, both through this vendor and another one, have been stale. This has been very disappointing to me (considering how expensive they are) and to my cats, who still managed to choke a few of them down, however. Is there a way to get the fresh treats back?

great treats/happy cat
These treats are our cat's favorite thing!
She has become notoriously finicky in her old age. However, even at times when she is busy rejecting can after can of brand after brand of cat food, she will eagerly, dare I say maniacally, devour these treats - I can even request and get a "sit" before doling them out!.

Liv-A-LOT
I have a dog who is finicky like a cat...good in some ways 'cuz he won't eat anything he just finds on the ground or that a stranger might try to give to him. But it can be a challenge to find treats or easily portable foods for travel or day trips as he eats "frozen raw meat for dogs" as the bulk of his diet. The LAL Chicken Treats are wonderful - he loves them. The only thing I wish is that they didn't require refrigeration after opening. And they are expensive.

My dog loves this
I have had problems with my Papillon eating my cats food. I feed them at the same time but when I turn my back my dog is gobbling down the cat's food then would go and eat hers. I bought Liv-A-Littles chicken treats and I crumble it up on top of my dogs food and she runs over and eats her food, she completely leaves the cat food alone. What a blessing this had been. Now I know my cats are getting their food and the dog is not eating too much. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Best treats for cats and dogs
Halo Chicken Liv-a-Littles are pieces of freeze dried chicken that our dogs and cats will fight over. They will do tricks to get these treats and we just shake the jar to get them all to come running. Keep in mind that they are higher in sodium due to the processing, so you should ask your vet before giving them to special needs pets. As a treat, these are little pieces of pet heaven and your dog or cat will thank you for them.

Cats Really Love This
I have two mature cats, 13 and 14 years old respectively, who go crazy for these treats.
Normally they are so quiet that you wouldn't know they were in the house, but as soon as I open the top, they scramble to the kitchen meowing at the top of their lungs.
I like giving them this treat because they're strips of dehydrated chicken (mostly white meat). I prefer to keep their diet as natural as possible and that includes their treats.

Dogs love these! Cats too.
We have 4 dogs & each eats from their own bowl at the same time. We crush one piece of these treats over their dry food, and they eat it all immediately. That way we know everyone got fed instead of one wandering off and someone else eats theirs. Cats love them too as a treat.

Best treats ever for my picky cat
Halo freeze-dried chicken treats are literally a life -saver. My diabetic cat was rejecting all treats I offered her at insulin shot time. Ordered the treats out of desperation and they were an instant hit. Tried all flavors but chicken is the winner.
Swanson has the best prices by far on these and so many other products, I'm a customer for life.

My cats go crazy for these!
My cats love these treats, they are a little expensive so they don't get them every day though. They come running and climb all over me when they see me take the jar out! The pieces do turn into a crumbly powder but I just sprinkle it over their regular food and watch them devour it!
