All Eden canned products I am always happy with any of the Eden canned products I buy. Guaranteed to be healthier and taste much better too. December 17, 2013
SECRET BEAN INGREDIENT Many refried beans are loaded with stuff I don't want. Being a real 'foodie,' I do all my own seasoning, and these are perfect for me to doctor up to my taste / preference. Also, as a 'secret bean ingredient,' I include these Organic Refried Black Beans in my legendary Aztec Chili, along with whole beans, of course. You can find my multiple-award-winning Aztec Chili Recipe here on Swanson's website in their recipe archives. Thank goodness these Eden Organic Refried Black Beans come in a BPA-free can. I wouldn't use them if they didn't. June 20, 2013
Great Products I like to use these beans as a base, and add salsa and garlic for a nice refried bean. Nothing has been added to these beans, just water & salt, so you do need to add some type of liquid to make them smooth and creamy (which is why I add salsa). I love the quality of Eden products, and their cans are BPA free on everything except the tomato products, that means a lot to me & my family. March 7, 2010
seasoning needed? I was disappointed in this product because it was so bland. The quality was fine, but it had very little flavor. After much seasoning, it was good. The ingredients were listed, so maybe my expectation was too high. January 3, 2010
