Not as advertised
The frame on the magnifier is flimsy, just soft plastic, so when you hold it up it does not stay rigid over the page, but bends uselessly. Therefore, you must use 2 hands to hold it. And the ad does not tell you that YOU MUST HOLD IT 4 INCHES ABOVE THE PAGE!! If you try to read a newspaper or book with it, your hands become tired of holding it very quickly. I thought you could just lay it over the page (which is why I ordered it), but that does not give any magnification at all! It is ok for reading a few words or a label (and for that purpose you can use any small magnifying glass), but it is virtually useless for reading books or papers. Also there are several scratch marks and a haziness on some parts. So if you're looking for a magnifier to read books or papers, this is NOT it!!!

I CAN SEE!!!!!!!
I was shocked to know that Swanson had this product. Some of the wording on the vitamin bottles are so tiny, I can't even see them with my glasses on, but this helps tremendously, even with entire book pages.
