Dr. Bronner's Organic Hand & Body Lavender Shikakai Soap cleanses and moisturizes skin with olive, jojoba, hemp and coconut oils. It also features organic shikakai, which has been used for over 1000 years in India as a gently conditioning cleanser for both skin and hair. Dr. Bronner's extracts the shikakai in organic sugar and grape juice, which moisturizes skin, and combines them with Dr. Bronner's castile soap for a rich emollient lather. Organic sugar is great for skin because it puts moisture into skin and keeps skin super-soft and smooth.

Organic Hair Care in 3 Easy Steps:

1. Shampoo with your favorite Dr. Bronner's soap.

2. Rinsing with our hew ORGANIC SHIKAKAI CONDITIONING RINSE. Just stir 1-2 capfuls of this rinse into a cup of water, close eyes and slowly pour while massaging into hair. Keep hand combing hair until hair feels entirely sleek (~30 seconds). Rinse out well. Repeat if necessary in extra hard water conditions or with longer hair.

3. After drying lightly with a towel, massage in Dr. Bronner's new USDA ORGANIC LEAVE-IN CONDITIONING CREME for added silkiness and softness.

CAUTION: Keep out of eyes: wash out with water 15 min and consult a physician if irritation persists. Do not refill with Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 Pure Castle Liquid Soaps which can clog the dispenser and spurt soap. In this superb formula, the Shikakai extracted in organic natural sugars also keeps the pump for clogging.

Glad I found it I usually use Castile liquid soap. I read other review about better moisturizing property. So, I got one, but to a disappointing result. It's only a little bit less drying than regular liquid--which is fine for my use as I use this to make my own blend of shampoo, too. Now, if Swanson would carry Rose liquid and Dr. Bronner make Shikakai Rose, too. I'd like that. March 18, 2013
