Organic Hair Care in Three Easy Steps

1. Shampoo with your favorite Dr. Bronner's soap. True soaps clean hair well but can leave a tangly look & feel; however...

2. Rinsing with our new Organic Shikakai Conditioning Rinse results in spectacular look and feel! Just stir 1-2 capfuls of this rinse into a cup of water, close eyes and slowly pour while massaging into hair. Keep hand combing hair until hair feels entirely sleek (~30 seconds). Rinse out well. Repeat if necessary in extra hard water conditions or with longer hair.

3. After drying lightly with a towel massage in Dr. Bronner's new USDA Organic Leave-In Conditioning Creme for added silkiness and softness.

WARNING: Concentrated: Dilute! Dilute! Ok! Keep rinse out of eyes and wash out with water. Consult a physician if irritation persists. The lemon juice may slightly sting abrasions of the scalp & skin but goes away with rinsing.

Not animal tested.

love it! love how this makes my hair feel clean and smooth. I failed to mix it with water before using, but it still worked fine March 10, 2014
Didn't like this but Swanson customer service was I like the Dr. Bronner products. I think this one somwhow chemically changed due to shipping conditions or age. It had separated and was grainy. Customer service express shipped me a different product so I have absolutely no complaints. December 26, 2013
Need an Applicator Bottle I really love this product. I have curly, frizzy hair and I get good results..shiny hair with less frizz and more defined curl. But it is not without a little extra effort. I purchased a plastic applicator bottle at the beauty supply(the ones with a pointed tip for mixing and applying hair color) and put in a capful or two of the product, fill the rest with water and then shake it up.( I snip the tip a little for extra flow). This will allow you to apply the diluted rinse with control and ease. Just keep your head back a little while applying and you won't get it in your eyes. I rinse out my bottle and have been using the same one for over a year. It is worth the effort...hope this helps! June 5, 2013
Great product Great quality product that leaves hair soft and smelling clean and fresh. It's very liquidy though, and could be in a pump or have a small opening at the top. April 24, 2013
Aromatherapy too I am in my mid 40's with a lot of thin natural blond hair. Many conditioners leave my hair looking greasy by the end of the day. This product acts as a hair clarifier, and softens my hair without the greasy look. In the dry winter months when static is a problem, I use a little Dr. Bronners "leave in conditioner" on the very ends of my hair. My favorite part of this hair rinse is the aromatherapy it offers when using. It's nice and invigorating for a person who's slow to get moving in the morning. Yes this product is muddy brown in color, but it doesnt effect my hair color in any way. I keep a plastic mug in the shower, because the directions require dilution of water before pouring over your head. Also with the ingredients containing lemon and orange oil, common sense would dictate you keep your eyes closed when using this product. It will sting if you let it get in your eyes, just as a squirting orange will sting your eyes if it manages to make contact with them. I also use Giovanni and Aubrey Organic hair products and find Dr. Bronner's products to be a good change for variety. February 11, 2013
Worst ever I normally like Dr. Bronner's products however this one is terrible! It's very runny. It requires the addition of water because it's concentrated which makes it even runnier. It's messy and gets in my eyes everytime. I've tried different things to make it work. Defintately would NOT recommend this product!! August 15, 2012
