I tried this product after reading a review that said B12, or the type of B12 that would be better for the particular supplement they were describing was methylcobalamin, instead of cyanocobalamin(which I had been taking for years). I can think of 3 reasons why I did not have a positive reaction from B12-methylcobalamin: 1) Not everyone reacts to medications, supplements, vitamins in the same manner. 2) I was at the time, unaware there were 2 types of B12 and having taken cyanocobalamin for many years, my body is used to it; plus I do not react well to time-released substances. In other words, I am cognizant of what B12-cyanocobalamin will do for me, I recognize the effect. Maybe I was anticipating the same from B12-methylcobalamin and therefore was unaware of any positive influence it may have produced. And 3) Possibly it is not very good? I don't like stating that though because of my first reason; it may work great for another? October 23, 2013

Way to go Doc Best Go with methyl B-12, over the cyanocobalamin, and go with Doctor's Best, because it is free of sugar alcohols (xylitol), lactose, and magnesium stearate--anti-nutrients--and is exactly what I was looking for. October 25, 2012
