The refreshing flavor without the chemical taste was unexpected. Wasn't sure that it would be as effective without the harshness of most brands-pleasantly surprised!

This is a fun mouthwash. I like to use Tea Tree Oil, but the Spearmint makes it that much better.

Could not find Melasol; tea tree oil miscible with water, so bought your mouthwash to try. Very happy with the strength yet easy on the mouth.

This is my favorite mouthwash! It is so refreshing! Naturally antibacterial, too! I bought it for my hubby because I can't stand the smell of his usual Listerine. He likes it, too! I wasn't using mouthwash until I bought this! I won't use anything else.

I was supposed to get periodontal surgery for my gums. Instead, I chose to use this Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash 3 x day, vigorously swishing it in my mouth for 5 minutes each time. After 4 months of usage, I returned to my regular dentist, who could NOT believe how healthy and normal my gums were. Needless to say, I no longer need periodontal surgery for my gums. My husband and I use this mouthwash twice a day, and our gums really look very healthy now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mellowhisper First and the last mouthwash
This is the first mouthwash I have bought in my life, and I bought it because it is Desert Essence. I use your toothpaste regularly, and love it. I love this product as well. A mere 1/2 oz. every night will refresh, (it feels as if it foams inside mouth), a bottle of 16 oz. will last 32 washes, about a month. Priced reasonably I will perhaps continue as an added dental regime. Thank you for forming a good habit for me.

I really like this mouthwash and loves what it does to my teeth. It doesn't have any alcohol in it, which gives it a nice smooth and gentle cleansing. I can actually swish it around in my mouth for a minute or two instead of just barely manage to swish it for 10 seconds like I had to do with Listerine. I also feel like my teeth are becoming stronger by using it, which makes sense, because there aren't any harmful chemicals eroding away the enamel. I also only have to use a little bit, like maybe a capful, if that, which is nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tooth Fairy Alli The best natural mouthwash
I love all of Desert Essence's products!!! The tea tree oil mouthwash is my #1 though! I am going to school for dental hygiene, and I have not found a mouthwash that is as great as this one! Love the taste, and how natural the ingredients are. It really is efficient and works well. Highly recommended!!

This is the second time I've purchased this product. I like the natural ingredients but the flavor is off for me. Too sweet and the is no hint of tea tree present. I am unsure if I would purchase this product again. However the toothpastes are wonderful!!!! Please consider making this in a different flavor... I want to feel it working and have a refreshingly clean feeling when I use mouthwash.

Rated 5 out of 5 Great for mouth sores
I have fairly bad gengevitis and i had a mouth ulcer for 2 weeks, flossing and brushing didn't do any good. I have been using this mouthwash for two days and the ulcer is almost gone, and it doesn't hurt anymore! :)

I love this mouthwash because it is the only one that does not burn my mouth. The foil cap may be hard to remove but I simply poked a small hole in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by folkrules102 Best mouthwash I've ever used!
This mouthwash left my mouth feeling not only clean, but "healed"...so much more so than regular store brands. It's alcohol-free, so it's incredibly soothing, yet very minty and refreshing as well. My only complaint is that the bottle is way too small. I would pay for a larger bottle, so I hope this is something Desert Essence will consider. If you want to take extra care of your teeth and gums, use this! Well done!

I bought this product because I wanted a mouth wash that doesn't burn and isn't full of carcinogens and other chemical additives that will cause harm to my body. I love the taste of this mouth wash, and my mouth feels very clean and refreshed after. My gums don't burn like they do when I use listerine. I actually find my mouth stays cleaner feeling until the morning than compared to other mouth washes. The only thing I don't like about this product is the size of the packaging. I think I bought an 8oz bottle at the grocery store, but I would like a larger size bottle, just to reduce packaging and waste. It's a bit expensive but it is worth it. You also only need a very small amount of the product which is nice.

I really like this mouthwash. It's not sweet like others and does not burn my mouth. However, it did turn cloudy. Why did this happen? Is the product still good? I've had it for a week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LizaB. Great product, poor cap design
I love your Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash, but the inner paper lining under the cap has been glued on with some nuclear-powered substance that is impossible to remove. We've had to return three bottles to [@] in NYC so far, and they said have received other customer complaints. Why the poor design? Otherwise, this is a fantastic product, and I hope you consider making the inner paper lining more customer-friendly to remove.

Rated 4 out of 5 by John Excellent product, packaging not
The most effective products I've found to help control my oral lichen planus are Desert Essence Toothpaste (fennel) & Desert Essence tea tree oil mouthwash. I have used these products for over 5 years, whomever decided to change the packaging should be demoted to janitorial duties only. The new toothpaste cap gets in the way. The mouthwash safety seal has always been difficult to remove, the smaller top on the new package makes it more difficult. I thought you'd gone out of business because the radical new label and packages don't look like Desert Essence Products and are hard to find on the store shelf. Dumb to waste all that brand familiarity. John ...

I have tried the mouthwash for the past few months now. I love that it is another natural product, but not so keen on the taste. I don't really like the after taste so well. Sorry Desert Essence. I would have to say that this is the ONLY product I would not purchase again. All your other products I have been purchasing,I cannot live without, but this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mary with the fresh mouth Mouthwash recommended by my pulmondary d
Because of forgetting to rinse one time after inhaling a powder (Advair) medication, I had white spores(?) all over. I think my doctor said it was Foot and Mouth disease. He recommended Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash. It quickly cleared up my mouth. I use it every day now (twice a day) and have had no more problems. Sometimes, I even forget and do the mouthwash first. Still no problems. I also calms the sting from my toothpaste, helps with my dry mouth, etc.
