Red Raspberry Shampoo - Shine Enhancing
This shampoo gets my hair very clean without drying it out. It takes just a small amount to form a rich lather. My hair has body and shine. The berry scent is delicious, and there is no SLS or other harsh chemicals. It's a great product!

I loveeee Desert Essence! I disagree with other reviews on the smell, I love the scent, it's NATURAL FRAGRANCE not chemical fragrance, some people are so used to "fake" scent they can't tell the difference! Very happy with this shampoo and my healthy hair!

Keeps its Promise
I love this shampoo! I use it with the conditioner and together they do make my hair shiny. Not only that, but my hair stays looking and feeling clean longer than with any other shampoo I have ever used. It has a pleasant fragrance that does not linger, which I consider a definite plus. It does not claim to build body, but it does just as well as the shampoos that make that claim.

This shampoo cleans well and isn't irritating to my irritable scalp. It really lathers well and rinses well.

This product along with the other scents of this
Brand smelled amazing. It left my hair feeling so soft and looking so shiny. I love this brand. This particular shampoo left my scalp kind of dry though.

It smells of fresh raspberries, and cleans your hair so deeply it squeaks! I really enjoy the clean fresh feeling when using this shampoo. It lives up to its name as your hair will glisten and shine.

I love all the Desert Essence hair products, but this is especially nice, and I like that the fragrance is not too strong.

It leaves your hair feeling clean, soft & shiny. Lasts a long time, & i have long hair. Great price, & i love the ingredients, all natural. It smells like what it says, raspberry, and i get comments on how nice my hair smells.

Works wonderfully for my hair
I went to a local organic food store to find a shampoo without any sodium laureth sulfate, and this fit the description. I agree that the smell is a bit aritificial, but I use a different brand of conditioner so I don't usually smell the shampoo.

great shampoo, just the smell after..
I love that it doesn't have any harsh chemicals and it does make my hair soft and shiny. The only problem I have with this shampoo is it's smell. I have used the coconut shampoo, green apple shampoo and the red grape shampoo and they all don't leave behind this smell that the raspberry leaves. At first when i put the shampoo in my hand it smells GREAT! Just like candy and while soaping it it smells good too, but once i wash it it leaves behind this kinda fake (not sure how to exactly describe it) unpleasant smell. I tend to have to hold my breath and then quickly use a body wash to envelop myself in the body wash scent. Otherwise, I like the product a lot, but not my favorite of all the DE shampoos that I've used.

I'm very happy with this shampoo and the conditioner (I've had to go gluten free). Honestly, I've noticed a bit of a difference in my hair (it is very dry and brittle). The only problem I have is with the packaging. I don't understand why it's so difficult to get the tubes open. It's impossible to pull the tab and have the cover come off the way it's meant to. I had to use a small pair of sissors and even that was difficult. Also, the price is a bit high for the amount of product.

Best. Shampoo. EVER
I'm pretty paranoid about anything with chemicals in it, so for years I've been looking for the perfect organic/all natural shampoo. Obviously, I've now found it. Out of all the different brands of shampoo I've tried, your Red Raspberry shampoo is totally my favorite! The first time I used it, I could feel it worked. My hair is really soft and shiny, and it feels lighter than it ever has. Plus, you just can't beat the yummy smell it leaves behind :)

I have been using the product for a month along with the conditioner. I decided to search for it online because I have been using it for everything in the shower. The problem is that I am gluten free, not by choice. this product takes away the migraines, itchy and oily skin. Now that I have found the internet store, I will shop stress free!

My hair was so shiny after using this product and the matching Red Raspberry conditioner for a few days. I got compliments from friends and family. When I ran out of product and couldn't find it in stock, I switched to another product (dif. brand) within two days my hair was looking frizzy and weird again. I am looking for a local source for the product (a list of merchants), which is what brought me to this website. I'd gladly order the red raspberry product line by the case!

Berry Bright and Beautiful
For a scented shampoo, this is absolutely fabulous. I've never been especially keen on the fragrance of raspberries, but this product opened up my world a little. The smell is very pleasant and not overbearing, even for those who tend to become sensitive to scents after a while, such as myself. This is definitely the best scented hair cleanser I've ever used (the packaging is also very cute). Desert Essence shampoos are excellent at smelling authentic and not synthetic like many others out there on the market. But the smell is not the only great thing about the product. These shampoos never fail at getting your entire scalp clean without stripping it of its natural oils. The cleanser is thick and works to reach under the hair well, even if it is long, thick, or curly like mine. I don't have to use as much as I did in the past with other shampoos, so these tend to stick around longer in my shower. In addition to the conditioning oil extracts in this shampoo are the gentle surfactants that are naturally derived, as opposed to the cheap and harsh Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates used in most mainstream hair products. Red Raspberry will not disappoint those who love *or* dislike the fruit, as it will leave you with a head full of clean, soft, shiny and pleasantly-fragrant hair.

I came across this shampoo when I was looking for an organic, gluten free product. within a week of using this item a small area of dandruff I have had for several years cleared up. I shared my story with a good friend who has had dandruff for over 20 years. It took two weeks and his dandruff cleared up.

My Best Friend Loves It!
I stumbled across the apple ginger variety of this shampoo and loved it, and my best friend wanted me to recommend something for him, so this is what I chose. He has thick, amazing hair (I'm jealous), so this seemed like the best fit for him. Needless to say, he tried it, and he told me that this is the best shampoo he has ever used and it makes his hair feel amazing. He also loves how it smells (despite the fact that it smells, "girly" :p ).

Because I have a gluten intolerance, I have to use gluten free shampoo and when I saw this in Guido's I just had to try it! It smells amazing and makes my hair so clean, shiny, and soft. I highly recommend it to anyone- even if you don't have a gluten intolerance! I also love that all of their products are organic =) The only complaint is the price because I am used to spending $2.99, but this product is worth 6 extra bucks!
