Lemon Tea Tree Shampoo - Oily Hair
I absolutely love this stuff. I feel like my hair is so clean after using this, my hair doesn't get as oily as quickly, and it has a nice fresh smell to boot. I recommend getting the conditioner as well. Great product!!!

great for oily teenage hair
I bought this for my granddaughter who has really oily hair. It works really well without having an odor or chemicals. Her hair is very long and it leaves smelling fresh, clean and very little trace of oiliness.

Bought this for a friend who has very thin hair, she used it and fell in love with it. I tried it as well and concur, amazing shampoo and volume above what we expected.

Great Shampoo For Oily Hair
Great shampoo for oily hair. I have oily hair and this works wonders for my hair. It is gentle enough to be used every day if needed. I often use it every day. I have even used it twice a day and no side effects.
It smells great, and really removes excess oil without drying your hair. If you have oily hair like me then this is a great shampoo for you.
I really like this product and I will be taking it with me to college.

I bought 3 tubes for our oily haired family. None of us like it because it simply does not do what it says. One daughter with long hair says it dries out her hair yet seems to leave the scalp even oiler. Washing is pleasant, and the fragrance is nice, but it simply doesn't do the job.

I have very fine but thick hair which easily tangles. I also have a scalp that produces tons of oil, making it difficult to wash my hair without drying out the ends. In the past, conditioners have always left my scalp too oily, hair weighted down and the ends of my very long hair a tangled mess. I have been using this conditioner for almost a month now (I still have the first 8oz tube) and I love this stuff!! It makes my hair shiny, clean without weighing it down. My scalp doesn't get oily anymore and the ends of my hair do not tangle at the slightest breeze. For value and quality this just cannot be beat!!! If you have hard to manage, fine straight hair like mine, you will not regret buying this. Oh and it smells wonderful too!!! Finally a conditioner that works!!

This shampoo is great for oily hair. I have been using it for several years, but just recently found it on Swanson's web site. I will be buying it from them since I purchased several other items as well.

Great for little sisters hair
I ordered this for my litlle sister who has extremely oily hair, and she really likes it. She says that you only need to use a little bit at a time b/c it lathers pretty well and "covers your whole head".

This is a great shampoo that leaves your scalp and
hair very clean, You can shampoo less often as
your hair stays cleaner longer. It is so nice to use a Tea Tree Shampoo that smells like lemons and
the lemon scent is not overpowering.

My hair is very thin, prone to fall and oily so when i went to the DE store the SA suggested that I buy this instead of the Raspberry(I really love raspberries!!) one.I really glad that I listened to him because lemon tea tree shampoo is the best shampoo that i've tried so far!It lathers well so I only need a tiny amount for my short hair.It cleanses well too and when combine with its conditioner it gives such a lovely result. My hair is definitely thicker, softer and shinier than ever.I could not stop playing with my own hair hehe..That and added the fact that it is natural-based, really makes it an outstanding shampoo..I was so disappointed with Aubrey Organic shampoo for oily hair because it made my hair more oilier and limpy that i returned to using shampoo that contain all that nasty stuffs-Methylchloroisothiazolinone,Sodium lauryl- while feeling bad about it all the time but hey at least it did give me great results.I'm so happy I stumbled upon this miracle little thing. Now I will never look back again from this amazing shampoo because of all the benefits it gives-both to the condition of my hair and to my health^^

What did you do to my favorite shampoo!?
This shampoo was originally the best thing I've found for my oily hair! It made a great clean base pallet for my other styling and nourishing shampoos and conditioners. Perfect clean without drying. I freaked out at first when they changed it now I'm just sad,. It doesn't rinse as clean, it leave a waxy heaviness my thin hair doesn't need. That said, it's still the best product to balance my oily hair. Have to order more cuz I can't run out. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK DESERT ESSENCE!!!!

I have thin, wavy, oily hair, and I can't successfully use just any shampoo on it. I'm very pleased to report that Lemon and Tea Tree does everything I want a shampoo to do. It smells pleasant but doesn't provoke my allergies, it lathers nicely and rinses cleanly, and it leaves my hair full, fresh, shiny, and supple. Best of all, Lemon and Tea Tree is cruelty-free, which is very important to me. It's reasonably priced, too. As long as the good results continue, I'll keep buying this!

I like the old formula better
I use this product every day in junction with the lemon tea tree conditioner. I love both products but wish Desert Essence would switch back to the old formula for the shampoo (I don't know about the conditioner, I'm about half-way through an old bottle of it). I don't like radish ferment filtrate or understand why it was necessary to add it in. I also don't like that the tea tree oil is no longer organic. I am all for the natural life-style but I promote the organic lifestyle more since "natural" means from nature, and contains no UNnatural colours/dyes, fragrances, no parabens, etc. But it doesn't mean a product is better for the environment because it still allows the usage of pesticides and genetic modification. So I must say that unless the company changes it back to organic tea tree oil I will no longer buy the product.

Fresh and Clean
Love its ingredient list as well as its performance. Smells lemony fresh and clean, and an uplifting and energizing bit of scent remains on my hair. A little bit of product goes a long way, and it is priced competitively for a shampoo that contains mostly certified organic ingredients and is cruelty free. Lemon tea tree oil discourages insects, too, including bedbugs! It rinses cleanly and leaves my hair soft and shiny.

Love this shampoo. Its organic, no sulfites and smells fresh and clean. I was worried at first about the tea tree being in it since is smells so strong but I only smell lemons and my hair is soft and shinny. I use the Grape too and change off between lemon and grape.

When i first used this product, after blowdrying and styling, it truly felt better. It removes all excess product left in my hair. I dont like to wash my hair everyday (it drys out very easily). When i use Lemon Tea Shampoo, my hair feels extreamly clean unlike my other shampoos. I reccommend this product to anyone!!
