Desert Essence Organics Bulgarian Lavender Hand and Body Lotion is an organic lotion that uses Bulgarian Lavender to calm the skin and senses. Bulgarian Lavender is from a different species of plant than traditional lavender. This species is known throughout Eastern Europe to have a calming effect on the skin, as well as an ability to soothe the senses. Desert Essence Organics line is 100% Vegan and is wheat and gluten free. It has no parabens, no sodium laurel/laureth sulfates, no phthalates, no artificial fragrances or colors, no silicones, no EDTA, no glycols and no petroleum based ingredients. Cruelty Free and biodegradable.

Best Lavender lotion I've found This is just the best Lavender lotion on the market. Sometimes Lavender smells like medicine or a bit burnt. Not this lotion! It smells just like fresh Lavender. The quality of the lotion is also wonderful. it absorbs well and does what it's supposed to do. I wish Desert Essence would make a whole line of facial care products using this formula. I am in love with this product I am highly sensitive to anything with perfumes and certain ingredients. I asked for a tube of this lotion for Christmas and it is PERFECT for me: beautiful, gentle scent from natural oils; does not irritate my skin in any way, shape, or form; creamy and absorbs so well! I follow the "Curly Girl" routine and even use this lotion as a conditioning cream in my hair after washing it. I will be buying this lotion as long as it is manufactured. Favorite Lotion I love the scent of this lotion, it is a true lavendar fragrance without being perfumey or artificial. The lotion goes on smoothly and soaks in quickly, offers nice moisturizing but the best part is the scent. I gave this to my oncologist to use after seeing particularly difficult or stressful patients and she said it makes a big difference - helps calm her down! Makes a nice little gift. December 25, 2008
