Affordable Organic Quinoa Flour First I was delighted that Dakota Prairie's organic quinoa flour cost much less than other brands for a bigger package. Next, when I used the flour, I was delighted by the fine grind and the lovely flavor.One suggestion for Dakota Prairie is that this (and other gluten free flours) be made available in larger amounts. I go through quite a bit of gluten free flours, in baking for my family and testing recipes for my website - and I would be thrilled if I could buy them in convenient five or even ten pound bags. Another great alternative flour! I've always loved quinoa in soup or as a side dish. But quinoa as a flour gave an interesting nut-like flavor to the new gluten free breads I am making. I am finding that using 3-4 different kinds of flour makes a better product. This one is the highest in protein of all the gluten-free flours that I know of. It makes a healthy oatmeal cookie as well! May 1, 2013
