One of the best I bought this canned food for my elderly cat to try. With his age of 14 and his body changing (hearing, smell, taste etc) Suprisingly, he enjoyed the food. His appetite increased and of coarse gained some of his weight back. However, it does not have a pleasant smell to it. November 5, 2012
Finally a canned catfood I can feed! My 4 cats have been on a raw diet for 10 years. They are all now in their upper teens, & in the last 2 years seem to have lost some of their sense of taste/smell (as elderly humans do.) Raw food has very little smell (don't know about TASTE!) but the cats' appetites began to diminish significantly, & they were becoming thin. "Priming" their appetites by mixing a couple tablespoons of Castor & Pollux Organic Feline into their raw food has put the eagerness back in their appetites & they're no longer thin, & with NO digestive problems from adding canned because it's all organic & the carbs in it are easily digested. The price is rock-bottom, &, as with all of Swanson's products, shipping is only $4.95! You can't get that ANYWHERE else! This review applies to all varieties. March 10, 2010
