Soothe minor skin irritations with the Marigold of Europe, Calendula officinalis. Boiron's First Aid Calendula Ointment uses the centuries-old healing agent of calendula to help treat cuts, chapping, burns and scrapes. Homeopathic medicine. No artificial colors or perfumes.

Active Ingredients

Calendula officinalis 1X HPUS 4% Healing agent

Inactive ingredients: White petrolatum USP

Directions:

For minor cuts, scrapes and chafes, first cleanse the area with mild soap, rinse and dry. For minor burns, first run cool water on the burn and dry. Then apply a thin layer of Calendula Ointment to affected area 3 times a day or as needed.

WARNINGS: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if tube seal is broken. Consult a doctor in case of deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition persists for more than 3 days or worsens. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.

Healed burn fast I have had this around for awhile and used it for cuts but I recently got a burn on my hand. I used this immediately and covered the burn. I was pleased and surprised at how quickly the burn healed. I will be sure to continue using this product in the future. January 3, 2013

helped my heels By the end of summer my heels were dry and cracked. This ointment really helped heal them, as well as a dry spot on one finger. The only drawback is that, as an ointment, it stays on the skin a long time and can get on clothes, carpets, etc, so wear socks after applying it or be very careful. January 6, 2011
