Boiron First Aid Calendula Gel is a homeopathic treatment for cuts, chapping, burns and scrapes. It's made from the Calendula officinalis flower, which has traditionally been used as a haling a soothing substance when applied locally. No artificial colors or perfumes.

Active Ingredients

Calendula officinalis 1X HPUS 7% Healing agent

Inactive ingredients: Purified water, carbomer, silicone oil, sodium hydroxide, sorbic acid, sodium methylparaben

Directions:

For minor burns, first run cool water on the burn and dry. For scrapes and skin irritation, first cleanse the area with mild soap, rinse and dry. Then apply a thin layer of Calendula Gel to affected area 3 times a day or as needed.

WARNINGS: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if tube seal is broken. Consult a doctor in case of deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition persists for more than 3 days or worsens. Keep out of reach of children. In case of ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.

Works better than expected I found out how effective this product is on burns. Burned my hand on a flat iron set @400 degrees F. (for my hair). Put my hand immediately under cool running water, but the throbbing pain was intense as soon as I removed my hand from the water, so I kept it under the water for quite a while. I realized I couldn't keep my hand in water all night so I thought of this gel and slathered it over the burn. Let it soak in for maybe 5-10 minutes. I felt some of the pain returning and piled on another thick layer. This time the pain relief lasted! I went to bed and awoke in the morning without even a blister! Amazing! June 1, 2011
always keep this on hand This is a great product. Not greasy, doesn't sting. I find it really helps the scrapes and minor cuts I get working in the garden feel better. Really took the sting out of a burn when i stayed out in the sun to long and got burned. I recommend to always keep on hand. Great prices for it on Swanson's May 22, 2010
