Ingredient: Whole Grain Organic Brown Rice.
Cooking Instructions: To cook as a hot breakfast cereal, just bring 3 cups water and ½ teaspoon salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Bob's Red Mill Organic Brown Rice Farina and turn heat down. Cook for about 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Don't overcook. Serve with honey (or brown sugar), milk and raisins, if you like. Also try some as a substitute for potatoes for dinner. Just cook as above but add chopped green onions, mushrooms, any other herbs or spices you like and serve with butter on top.
Microwave Instructions: In large bowl, combine ¼ cup Bob's Red Mill Organic Brown Rice Farina Cereal and 1 cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving.
