Better than cornstarch
I love this arrowroot powder and made the switch from corntarch once I realized most corn is a GMO.
I am also sensitive to corn, so this was an easy switch for me.

best value for arrowroot
I called a local health foods store to find the price for the exact same Bob's Red Mill All Natural Arrowroot Starch/Flour and it was slightly more expensive. It was more convenient to order it from this website along with my other purchase than to drive half an hour to the store to pay more fore it. It lasts a while too, and is a very healthy/helpful ingredient for baked goods as well as stews, etc.

Nice Stuff
We purchased this for use in a cream deodorant. However, my daughter has also been using as a dry shampoo, and says it works well for that as well!

One of my favorite flours
My family eats gluten free, and Bob's Red Mill is one brand I really trust. I use the arrowroot powder in many recipes. The price is lower than other brands, and the flour is excellent for baking and using as a thickener. I highly recommend this product!

great thickener
This product is great for a wheat flour substitute but it also makes a great thickener for gravies, puddings etc. In fact, I use it in place of corn starch often. My cupboard would be less efficient without it.

Good all around product
I use this in my beauty regimen as a body powder, and ingredient in homemade deodorant, as well as in the kitchen to thicken soups, stews or in baking. It replaces cornstarch very nicely.

Arrowroot Powder
I learned about arrowroot powder being a very beneficial food that we can all get benefit from by adding just a little to our diet every day. It actually contains a natural form of the mineral gold that you can't get anywhere else! This powder is 100% flavorless, so anyone can add it to anything at all, even water, and not be able to taste anything whatsoever from it. It is also used as a thickener in Chinese cooking, much like corn starch is used.
