Cordyceps Sinensis is one of those strangely named herbs that doesn’t really have an “Americanized” name like so many others we appreciate today. Nonetheless, more and more people are finding just how well it works.
Cordyceps is a fungus similar to a mushroom that grew native in China and was used by Chinese herbalists for thousands of years before this “energy-enhancing health tonic” was brought to the attention of the U.S. and commercial production was started (and modern science verified the energy benefits).
There are some people who take it as a healthier option to coffee for a little pick-me-up, there are some athletes who take Cordyceps for endurance during their workouts, and there are a variety of reasons people take it in between. No matter which reason anyone may choose to take it, it’s a great option for anyone looking for extra energy at any given point of the day!
