What makes you happy in life? I have quite a list myself - family, friends, school, job, reading, writing, health, and a nice cup of green tea or coffee. Whatever your list may be, can you take that list and compare it to how other people see their own happiness? Is there a way to determine who has a more positive or even realistic image of happiness? Roko Belic, Director of the film Happy, says that the things you value in life can have a huge impact on your level of happiness. Take a look.
I think that this movie will send a positive message across the world. It's an unselfish look at how people live and what can be attained in life by living positively. A part of this happiness can be attributed to natural health choices, a healthy diet and exercise, along with being more of a giver than a taker. People feel good when they do something for others--at least I do. It's like the philosophy of helping others to help yourself. When other people feel good, you feel good too.
At the end of the day, I find it essential to take a moment to think about what made you happy that day. It can be something small like finding a good book to read, or it can be something grand like getting married. Either way, I think being consumed by the positive is much more effective than dwelling on the negative.
