Craving the vending machine come mid-afternoon? Don’t go running to the naughty glass machine as that “tiny” bag of processed chips will only make your energy crash and cause more cravings later. Put your hunger on a leash with these yummy, healthy snacks all under 200 calories.


  • One tablespoon of natural peanut butter enjoyed with celery sticks, rice cakes or whole grain bread
  • Two tablespoons of hummus with celery, baby carrots, multigrain crackers or sliced red bell peppers
  • Half a cup of frozen yogurt with fruit toppings
  • One ounce of almonds
  • One ounce of baby carrots
