Figs are loaded with fiber, vitamins and potassium. Of course eating them fresh or dried is always delicious, but have you tried baking them? Check out this sweet and savory dish:
Remove stems and halve 12 figs; toss with 1 tsp. chopped rosemary and 2 Tbsp. organic olive oil, 2 Tbsp. honey, 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar, ½ tsp. salt and ½ tsp. pepper. Place cut side down in baking dish, cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Serve with arugula, prosciutto and crumbled bleu cheese. Drizzle with pan juices.
