Natural Health Supplies for Your Kids' Backpack

Back to SchoolDuring the school year, my kids spend the majority of their day at school.  They start off their day having breakfast at school with their friends and end their busy day with after school activities.  In response to some complaints from my kids this year, I have put together a list of my favorites to save them from a long day with dry hands or lips, dirty glasses, or a raging appetite.

Swanson Premium Hand & Foot Therapy Cream - Classrooms sometimes have hand sanitizers, sanitizing wipes and hand soaps that really dry out their skin.  This small bottle is the perfect size for their desk or backpack to gently moisturize dry skin.

Bausch & Lomb Sight Savers – My children both have glasses. These wipes are a convenient way to get their glasses cleaned up when they get dirty.  I like that they are for single use, so you can put a few in their bag for whenever they need them.

Burt’s Bees Lip Balm – Dry lips can make the day go on forever!  This lip balm has a hint of peppermint and is one of our favorites.  I really appreciate the all natural ingredients found in Burt's Bees products.

Kashi TLC Strawberry Cereal Bars & Kashi TLC Crunchy Granola Bars Pumpkin Spice - On the days we have an errand or two to do, the kids are running on empty (and extra cranky!).  In order to avoid a rash decision to get fast food or enter the grocery store while extremely hungry, I like to keep some natural health choices in their backpacks.  These snacks have also come in handy when the kids forget to pack their morning snack.  They are perfect when you need a fast, nutritious snack without spoiling supper.

Do your kids (and yourself) a favor and send them off to school with some natural health product essentials.  Think about how long your day would be if you had dirty glasses, dry skin or lips, or if you were really hungry because you forgot to pack a snack.  Your kids or grandkids will thank you for paying special attention to their well-being!
