About Dr. Joseph Mercola
Dr. Joseph Mercola is an osteopathic physician, trained in both natural and conventional medicine. He is board certified in family medicine. He has previously served as the chairman of the family medicine department at St. Alexius Medical Center in Illinois, a position he held for five years.
Dr. Mercola received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1976. He graduated with his osteopathic physician degree in 1982 at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
