Uses
Temporary relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold or inhaled irritants.
Warnings
Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat lasting more than two days or sore throat accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea or vomiting may be serious. Consult a physician promptly.
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
- A persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus)
Stop use and ask doctor if:
- Cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition.
If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional before use. Keep out of reach of children.
Directions
- Adults and children 5-12 allow 2 lozenges to dissolve slowly in the mouth. May be repeated every hour as needed or as directed by a doctor.
- Children under 5 ask a doctor.
