Body Brush Natural Bristle
Bernard Jensen Body Brush
I dry brush daily and needed to replace my old brush. The bristles are much firmer than my old one and I had to brush very lightly for a couple weeks but still managed to tear up a spot on my leg. After closer inspection, I found that there were two twigs (they looked like pine needles) in with the bristles. I cut them out and it made a world of difference. I really like the brush but I'm not very pleased with the quality. The wood in the handle splintered a bit and the handle doesn't always stay put.

Very pleased with this product. I've just began body brushing, and this brush has worked very nicely. The bristles are firm but not too stiff, and I love the fact the head can be removed from the handle.

I just recently started skin brushing, and I'm very pleased with this brush that I chose! The head slides onto the handle, so you can use it either with the long handle, or you can remove the brush and just hold it in your hand. I keep the handle attached, and it has stayed firmly attached; I've had no trouble at all with it slipping off. It's a great size, too! (Both the handle length and the brush head size.)
The bristles are very stiff and sturdy, and it is a little "scratchy/faintly uncomfortable" feeling when the brush is going over an area, but as soon as I'm finished, my skin feels super-great and invigorated, so I believe it's normal that skin brushing won't feel exactly pleasant while you're doing it. (And it depends on the area: on my feet, tops and bottoms, it feels superb when I'm brushing, but it hurts on my stomach, which is so much more of a tender area.)
I've read reviews by others who used the brush wet and then complained that their brush was terrible and prematurely broke, but the fact is that this brush is unfinished wood and is only intended for DRY brushing. The literature that comes with the brush actually states that the wood is unfinished and that it is very important that the wood NEVER get wet.

Best brush ever
I've had back brushes in the past, and they start out OK and then soften to mushy ineffectiveness. This brush started slightly too stiff, and now after many uses it's just right. The bristles are longer than other brushes I've had. I attached the handle with rubber cement and no problems.

I really like this
At first it's pretty abrasive ( I have sensitive skin )
Then it just gets awesome. My skin feels soft afterwards. Thx Swanson.

For those that like a firm bath brush, this does the trick. My old german made finally wore out and I looked everywhere to find another when I came across this one. I do not like the useless soft brushes at all. This one fit the bill. I does not get soft when wet and so far has held up very well. Even got two more for use in the future in case I have trouble finding it again.
You can use it for dry brushing your skin as well.
