Probiotic Acidophilus Strawberry Flavor 4.5 5 2 2
Best Ever I can't live without this! I take it daily and the natural taste of strawberry makes it really easy to take. American Health is really good and has a long shelf life. November 26, 2013
Fine, but what sets this apart from yogurt? Pros: Has a good, wholesome strawberry milkshake flavor. The flavor is not fakey or too sweet. Free of sucrose, fructose, and artificial sweeteners. My picky 4th grader likes it just fine. All good things. The main question on my mind: what sets this probiotic product apart from regular yogurt to justify the additional cost? Because it seems very much like flavored yogurt or kefir. The same list of organisms are listed on both. Would a teaspoon of plain yogurt have equal biological activity as a teaspoon of this probiotic? I would welcome any information to clear up my questions. In the meantime, I have to temper my praise and give the product 4 stars instead of 5. August 2, 2012
