Long acting C
I use this product for it's longer affect in the body. I have to take a prescription iron and vitamin c aids in the absorption of iron. Ester C is said to last 4 times longer than regular Vitamin C in the body and it doesn't upset your stomach because the calcium in it acts as a buffer in your stomach. I've been using it on and off for many years and am happy with the result. Would like to see a 1000mg cap. :)

Best in Class!
Of all the Vitamin C products out there, this is my top choice. Never any stomach upset with this, and the inclusion of the Citrus bioflavinoid complex enhances the value of the product immensely.

Ester C
I ordered 4 bottles of Ester C and the capsules were not filled up. About a quarter of an inch of ingredient was missing so I don't know if they will be effective. I have purchased Ester C for years and this is the first time its happened. Very disappointed with this product and Swanson was not helpful either, they just told me to send it back, well I didn't want to go through the hassle.

I think this is an outstanding product. Was looking for a Vitamin C in capsule form with calcium ascorbate as the Vitamin C instead of ascorbic acid, and also wanted bioflavonoids in it. This one fills the bill! Price also can't be beat. They also offer you a choice of regular gelatin capsules, or the same product in veggie capsules.

This product is an absolute must... this is the finest "C" I have ever used.
Freshness and the results you can smell and feel. Everyone needs to have Vitamin C in your diet, as it is not stored in the body...

Great Product
This is an excellent product. It has a high amount of Vitamin C with bioflavonoids which I find to be very effective,and is non-acidic. I have been using this product for a number of years and am very pleased with it.

Best price around for Ester-C
Many are aware that Vitamine C is a phenominal health supplement with more positive health benefits then can be listed here...
However, many are not aware that stomach irritation can occur when taking it in its traditionnal form which is Ascorbic Acid.
Ester-C however is a much gentler form which is also better absorbed by our bodies; IE: our bodies absorb it better.
Swansons has the best price and quality in this variety that I have found yet and I highly recommend adding it to your daily regimen.
I take 1500mg a day split in 3 doses as it is water soluable and what isn't absorbed is passed thru your body in the form of urine which means no toxic build up; always an added bonus!

Immune system inhancer
Ester - C is one of the most important immune system products you can take and I have used this product for over 20yrs. I have gotten minor colds and have gotten over them fairly easily,but this product has to be in your system before the problem starts, not just after or occasionally.

Great Value
It has the perfect amount of Vitamin C, along with calcium and bioflavonoids. I take one everyday at dinner. The only caveat: if taking large pills is hard, review the capsule size.

Excellent
I have been using this product for about 2 years, and the reason is mainly because Ester-C is a time release product. This particular brand is very good in both potency and effectiveness. There is absolutely no upset stomach from the C product. This is the only single c product that i take . I do also take Stress B with C.
