Developed in cooperation with dentists, Salt Toothpaste uses natural sodium biocarbonate to help protect your teeth and gums. This unique formulation, which includes sea salt, increases the natural saliva production, encouraging the body to keep the gums clean, healthy and strong. Soothing Myrrh and organic Ratanhia help keep the gums and oral cavity in good condition. Free of fluoride, detergents, synthetic fragrances, colors, preservatives and raw materials derived from mineral oils. Not tested on animals.

"I have spent nearly 40 years using "American"
toothpastes. From the usual Colgate, Crest, etc to the more expensive kinds like Rembrant etc. Not to mention all of the natural/ holistic ones. Some that tate like muddy grit that you taste for hours thinking it must work if it tastes so bad. By FAR and away this Salt toothpaste from Germany is the BEST. It leaves your teeth actually feeling clean. I mean really clean. I am not doing anything different as far as technique. It tastes bland with a cool feeling, but not a heavy mint aftertaste."

"This is the best toothpaste I have ever used. It makes teeth feel like they were just cleaned @ the dentist. The end of the bottle is always hard to squeeze out but I just cut it in half and scoop out the end w/my brush. Also Weleda doesn't put any junk in their products... very clean and natural!!! Title:Best Natural Toothpaste!

"I have been using Weleda's Salt Toothpaste for two years now (and no cavities). It took me a few times to get used to this new toothpaste but now I can't switch to others (others taste like chemicals now.) The paste has a gritty texture which helps gently scrub teeth super clean. It doesn't have flouride and contains only natural ingredients. The drawbacks are that the tube is a bit small for the price and I also have to order several to keep on stock. They are also packaged in a metal-like material that can make it difficult to squeeze out that last bit of paste at the end. Otherwise, this toothpaste is effective and worth buying!"
