Directions: For maximum benefit, medicinal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 10–15 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that end up in your teacup. Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract. Unless otherwise prescribed, drink three freshly prepared cups daily.
Duration of use: Dandelion teas should be used for periods of up to 4–6 weeks, followed by a break before resuming.
Contraindications: Consult your healthcare provider prior to use if you have severe acute, inflammation of the gallbladder, painful obstruction of the bowel, or obstructed bile ducts.
