I use these to get a good night's sleep and to regulate my moods. This did not perform as well for me as the Natrol brand, although Swanson's is the only one with the 100mg dose capsules (the others - including Natrol have too low dosages).

Fabulous!
Really wonderful product! I think it has helped my sleep and my mood as well. I'm a new mom so I need all the help I can get and I am so glad I found this!

No more raw nerves
After getting up at five in the morning, battling rude drivers for an hour to get to work, spending eight hours at a busy job with a bossy boss, spending another hour battling more rude drivers to get home to messy kitchen that was clean when I left or dog doodoo in the hallway, I was ready to strangle someone.
No more. Nothing seems to bother me these days. I take three Swanson's St. Johns Wart and one of these a day.
I can't take the 5-HTP in the evening though, I'm one of the small percentage that are perked up by it rather than sedated. I take it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.

I feel great
The price would be fair even for 50mg but for 100mg it's fantastic. I take this once in the morning and once in the evening and it has me feeling pretty even keel. I feel uplifted without feeling on-edge or overly-stimulated. I also sleep much better than I used to. I take this with the Swanson's L-Theanine. I got the idea because I saw a top-rated product that paired the two in the same supplement, but buying them separately with the Swanson's brand is actually cheaper.

Great
Very good product for those who are involved with heavy weightlifting. I Can definitely tell the difference in the quality of my rest and recovery when I am supplementing with 5-HTP, and like always Swanson has the best prices.

Helps Me Sleep
I take 1 capsule 20 minutes before going to bed and I could feel I'm in for a good night sleep. Sleeping is critical to my good health. I know I won't feel good in the morning if I don't get a good night sleep. It works. I also take magensium to relax my heart as part of a good night sleep too.

Boy do I like this
The 5- HTP is one of the best supplements I have ever taken. I just feel good all day and sleep better at night. I learned from a friend and have told several others about it. Thanks

have noticed a small difference
My integrative physician recommended this suppliment to help support mood. I take it regularly most of the time and have noticed a small difference in supporting positive mood. Will continue taking if price remains reasonable

I like This Product
When I first started taking 5-HTP I wasn't sure if it was having any noticeable effect.
However over time, I have noticed that it is much easier to deal with stress and I do seem to get better sleep on a regular basis.
Great product that has proven to be worth while to me.

Love This!!!
I have been doing a low-carb diet for a while now with fabulous results, however, the lack of carbs does not make the body produce serotonin. I have found since being on this diet I do tend to feel down.
Originally I started taking 5-HTP to help me sleep more soundly. I have found it very effective! I also carry a few extra pills in my bag during the day if I feel myself getting down or stressed.
The capsules make it easy to open and add 1/2 the formula to some water (I find I get too groggy if I try taking a whole pill during the day)
This has become a staple in my daily regimen.

I love this stuff
. I read the reviews on 5HTP and thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try and I sure did. I immediately saw results in my mood being calmer and I was no longer worried about anything. I gave this to my husband and it worked well on his moods evening out too. I am so glad I tried this, it has been a huge success.

5HTP Potency
I've been using 5HTP for over 12 years and thought I'd try Swanson's 5HTP, I found it not to be as strong as the brand I now use, even when I doubled up the normal dosage it didn't even come close.

LOVE IT!
I absolutely love this product, I can not live with out it. I take it in the morning along with all my other vitamins and I feel better mentally. I do not have episodes where i freak out on my man for silly things. I can't miss a dose otherwise. I can't beleive the results!
