AjiPure L-Cysteine L-Cysteine is an amino acid. This product provides Free Form L-Cysteine to promote optimal absorption and assimilation. Capsules are very easy to swallow, but I need a much smaller dosage than what these come in, so I just open up the caps and empty the powder into a little glass container, from which I use a very tiny spoon that came from a kelp powder bottle to sprinkle the product directly on my food at meals. It has a sharp little tang that I've actually come to enjoy quite a lot when I run into a little patch of it on my food - it took just a few days to get used to this little tang. December 27, 2011
