"Of course, this was totally my mistake, but I did not take care in examining the ingredients. I learned my lesson and have since ordered only after scanning the label for gelatin. My bad, Swanson! Anyway, having purchased it, I am now using this product, and it seems to deliver all the protective effects that acidophilus brings. I have been having a very healthy summer. I will look for another acidophilus product that is not encased in gelatin."

"WOWza!! This stuff is dynamite!! I've used many different types and brands of pro and pre-biotics, and this is the BEST!! I went on-line and checked into the information and reviews presenting Dr. Shahani's research of the DDS-1 strain of acidophilous, and it is impressive to say the least. So are the results! And with the FOS included in Swanson's product, the value in this product is there too. Having to purchase the FOS separately, would add greatly to the cost."
