Made with 100% mineral salt mud from the salt mines of Bavaria, Germany's southernmost region, our Mud Mask is the natural, mineral-rich soft wet earth found in the salt mines. After it accumulates and recrystallizes, the components are mined, finely ground and mixed with natural spring water. Swanson Ultra Bavarian Mountain Mud Mask contains valuable trace minerals and elements including potassium, calcium, magnesium and silica. This absorbent mask helps remove undesirable particles that may contribute to a poor appearance. Use one convenient packet once a week or once every two weeks. Simply apply to face, let dry for 15 minutes or so, rinse with cool water and pat dry. May be used as a poultice. Free of preservatives, fragrance and emulsifiers.
