One I won't do without
This is definitley one product I won't be without. I have used this for more than a year and it has helped me greatly. The price and quality are the best I have found. It keeps me going.

Depends on the Individual?
I hesitated to give such a low review of this product since it has received such high reviews, but chose to do so because it might help someone. My daughter and I both tried the product and decided to stop taking it due to how it made us feel. We are both sensitive to medications and various supplements. Instead of making us feel energized and more positive, we felt just the opposite. We felt tired, lackluster, and like we were in a brain fog. Since neither of us are bipolar etc. as the precautions stated, we do not really know why it didn't work. After two weeks we chose to stop because there was nothing else happening to cause such results.. I would highly recommend starting at a lower dose and close monioring for those who have sensitivities and allergies like we do. The product is chemically created and that in itself could be the nature of my problem. Swanson's makes the highlest quality products I have found and I will continue to buy all my many supplements from them. My sensitivities are my responsibility.

Swanson's brand gives me the same results as those costing twice as much. Why wouldn't I give it a 5-Star rating!

Good for mood & joints
Swanson's Sam-e is half the price of brands in local stores and just as effective for me. I can feel the difference in my sense of well-being when I use this product.

BEWARE of Actual Mg
Tosylate Disulfite is an agent used to stabilize SAMe, which would degrade quickly without it. But this stabilizer adds twice as much weight to the compound.
So if the label says 400mg SAMe Tosylate Disulfite, what you're actually getting is 200mg SAMe with 200mg of Tosylate Disulfite.
So if this seems to be half the price of other brands, that;s most likely because it is half the strength.

Perfect quality and price. Love it. Works as well as the higher priced brands.

Quality SAMe at best price
I have searched for quality SAMe at the lowest price and Swanson beats everyone hands down for both. Swanson almost always has the lowest price on any supplement.

exellent product
now I"m felling great with this supplement. I" m feeling refresh all day since I'm taking this supplement two months ago. I'm highly recommended this product also the pr ice are very reasonable compare to other with the same grade and quality.

High Quality and Good Price
I purchased this for my daughter who was buying locally at a much higher price. She has indicated that Swanson brand is working just as well as the higher priced brand. The price is almost half what the local pharmacies ask for the same strength and amount of pills.

Peace of Mind
In a nutshell, I take two 400mg every morning when I wake up on an empty stomach. I have been on this routine for two years. SAMe has giving me a peace of mind and it keeps me calm. I use to get upset and over act over little things and behave like a wild woman over more serious issues. I don't do those things anymore. The SAMe brought out the rational person inside me and I am very appreciative for that. Also this is the best price ever for SAMe! You can go into your local drug store and pay twice as much.

This appears to be a good product so far. I'm taking 800mg a day, and think I need to take a little more to be where I need to be, but I'm holding off on that for now. I took the highly recommended Jarrow Sam-e's and I notice no loss in quality going to the Swanson brand.

Works great, great price
I'm very happy having switched over to Swanson Ultra SAMe 400mg. I've even been able to lower my dose per day and feel better. Currently I take 1 pill 3 times a day (down from 3 pills 3 times a day with another brand) and I feel even better. I was nervous about buying something with such a significantly lower price point at first but I'm very, very satisfied with the product and feel great.

Excellent Product
I was thrilled to find that even though this Swanson SAM-e is so much cheaper then other brands I have tried it is just as effective! Big savings but same quality and effectiveness as any other brand of SAM-e available.

effective, lifts the brain fog
This product is effective. After reading most of the reviews I am very surprised about the different amounts of dosing by customers. But, after taking this I also found my correct dose. I actually take one pill and crush it into a powder. Then I take the tip of a knife and put just a very small amount under my tongue for about a minute. Then follow with a glass of water. I take this first thing in the morning, no later than 9am. I am petite and about 120 pounds. You will have to experiment with the dose but it is worth it to find "what works for you." Plus if you dose this way the product lasts a really long time. I keep mine in a small vial in a ziplock back with a freshness pack from one of my vitamin bottles. This keeps the powder dry and keeps out humidity. It really does make me feel as if my brain is working on all cylinders again. If you have trouble sleeping do not take large doses or take late in the day. IT WILL KEEP YOU UP!

Over the bumps
I will be putting in another order as this is a supplement that helps me feel good - especially during the winter season.
I have to admit that for the first two weeks, I was very irritable after taking the supplement in the morning. By week three, the irritability went away and I was feeling great. Can't explain it but I will continue to take this every morning before my day starts...
