Title:BEWARE of Actual Mg

"Tosylate Disulfite is an agent used to stabilize SAMe, which would degrade quickly without it. But this stabilizer adds twice as much weight to the compound.

So if the label says 400mg SAMe Tosylate Disulfite, what you're actually getting is 200mg SAMe with 200mg of Tosylate Disulfite.

So if this seems to be half the price of other brands, that;s most likely because it is half the strength."

"In a nutshell, I take two 400mg every morning when I wake up on an empty stomach. I have been on this routine for two years. SAMe has giving me a peace of mind and it keeps me calm. I use to get upset and over act over little things and behave like a wild woman over more serious issues. I don't do those things anymore. The SAMe brought out the rational person inside me and I am very appreciative for that. Also this is the best price ever for SAMe! You can go into your local drug store and pay twice as much."

Title:effective, lifts the brain fog

"This product is effective. After reading most of the reviews I am very surprised about the different amounts of dosing by customers. But, after taking this I also found my correct dose. I actually take one pill and crush it into a powder. Then I take the tip of a knife and put just a very small amount under my tongue for about a minute. Then follow with a glass of water. I take this first thing in the morning, no later than 9am. I am petite and about 120 pounds. You will have to experiment with the dose but it is worth it to find "what works for you." Plus if you dose this way the product lasts a really long time. I keep mine in a small vial in a ziplock back with a freshness pack from one of my vitamin bottles. This keeps the powder dry and keeps out humidity. It really does make me feel as if my brain is working on all cylinders again. If you have trouble sleeping do not take large doses or take late in the day. IT WILL KEEP YOU UP!"

"While visiting mom, an older neighbor suggested I try SAMe for joints, getting on it now and staying on it for life. She said to make sure and always purchase it in a package where they could be dispensed invidually, just like they come in the packets here. After a month or so of first usage, I noticed joint mobility AND mood both improving.
I looked everywhere and have never found prices that remotely compare to Swanson's not even the largest retailer in the world in my area can come close. And quality, as usual 2nd to none."
