"I am a post-menopausal woman. I had ordered alpha-lipoic acid, resverotrol and acai from Swanson. I have been taking them for several weeks. I had begun a low-glycemic diet about the same time which I stayed on for a couple of weeks and then relaxed for a couple of weeks. During those off weeks I wasn't exercising like I usually do 3-4 times a week. I started on the diet again on the second day stepped on the scale. I was at my lowest weight for several years as well as down a size into clothes I haven't been able to wear, namely from a XL to a L. The only explanation I can give are these supplements! Needless to say I have put in another order and will continue on this regimen! I am thrilled!"

"Swanson Alpha Lipoic Acid is another multi-purpose antioxidant. I first started taking it for my skin (after reading The Wrinkle Cure) as wrinkle prevention. Then, after reading Balance Your Brain; Balance Your Life, I kept on taking it (along with Carnitine) to banish the "brain-fog." That's a lot of work from one antioxidant."
