Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take one dual-release tablet with water 20 minutes before bedtime or as recommended by your healthcare provider.

The unique dual-release delivery system releases 1.5 mg of melatonin within minutes. An additional 1.5 mg is gradually released over 6 to 8 hours.

WARNING: As melatonin may produce drowsiness, do not drive an automobile or operate heavy equipment after taking. Do not take this product if you are pregnant or nursing, have an autoimmune condition or a depressive disorder, or are under 16 years of age.

"i've tried both the dual-release and the capsules and the capsules are ten times more effective. I honestly don't feel anything with the dual-release. The capsules make me sleep so hard I struggle to wake up in the morning but it's a more restful sleep."

"After receiving our Swanson order of melatonin, I was very discouraged to find that this contained artificial colors. (Would guess Red 40) I had forgotten to look at the label- which only shows how much I trust Swanson's to produce a quality supplement. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product."

"I have used melatonin for a couple years and just recently tried the dual release kind from Swanson. It is great. I fall asleep and stay asleep. If I do wake-up in the middle of the night I can fall right back to sleep. I don't feel groggy at all in the morning. I am a pretty light sleeper and I do still wake up fairly often but unlike before I started taking this product I can usually fall asleep again within a few minutes. I have recommended this to friends. I always was a good sleeper in my youth but since I started menopause I have a hard time sleeping, this does the trick for me."

"For someone who can take melatonin, this is probably a great product. However, my history with melatonin has always been feeling jittery and keeping me awake instead of getting sleepy. "If you have trouble staying asleep throughout the night, this will definitely help! I am normally the lightest sleeper and anything will wake me up.
