Works better than a more expensive brand This works better for me than a more expensive brand of Suntheanine. And it works as well as a third brand that is also more expensive than the Swanson's brand. I really appreciate that Suntheanine does not have D-theanine in it. This will relax your mind... If you have stress and if your mind is constantly going and you just want to relax a little, this supplement is for you. This Really Works! I have trouble sleeping (am post-menopausal), as do many people I know. Prior to trying Swanson's Ultra Suntheanine L-Theanine, I was using a more expensive product. To save some money, I decided to try Swanson's. It works just as well, in fact, better than the more pricey brands! I'll never switch again! I take one or two of these at bedtime with some melatonin and that has done the trick for me. If you research the internet you will find this combo can really make a difference. April 2, 2012

Favourite This has become my favourite relaxation supplement. I have used many from Swanson and others companies but this seems to work the best...... the one exception is taking it too close to bedtime seems to keep me awake. March 15, 2012

don't worry, be relaxed I am the mom of 5 kids, and all of the noise and stress that go along with that, but I have found that the l-theanine sort of helps me to stay in a better state of mind. Excellent for calming nerves I take this twice a day and it's wonderful for calming any uneasiness I may be feeling. It makes me a little drowsy after about 20 minutes but that doesn't last long, and then I just feel calm and content for quite a few hours. I take this morning and night along with 5-HTP. Calming effect I have been giving this supplement to my husband for years. It works! It calms him down and helps him sleep tremendously.
