"I take quite a few supplements daily but there are only a few that I won't be without, and Spirulina is one of them.
Since I started taking this stuff, I have more energy, improved digestion, and last but certainly not least, my bowel movements are regular.
I tried taking Chlorella instead of Spirulina, but in my case, Spirulina is by far the more effective supplement.
I can't speak to the quality of this product vs the Swanson organic version of the same, but I am totally satisfied with this product and see no reason to switch to something else.
This one is a winner in my books."

Title:It really is a great "food"!

"A friend told me to try this as he used it when he was on a running program. He was right!!! This is covering the gaps that my diet leaves open. I crave sugar less, have more energy, and don't get as hungry.

For myself, I did an experiment to see if this or chlorella (not the flagship Swanson stuff....didn't try that) worked better, and this won hands down......which is great for me because it is way less expensive. The result was instant and dramatic, and it seems to be improving the more I use it.

I also don't notice the gap when I forget my mulit's as much, so there must be something pretty nutritious in these. Thanks, Swanson!!!!"

"I have been taking spirolina for many years, and if I fail to take it in the morning and at lunch I just don't have the energy in the afternoon. "I like the coating on each pill because that makes it much easier to swallow. Pill size is
fine. I just pop a small bunch (around 6) at a time in mouth and take a big drink of whatever liquid I'm using and they go down easily. I always take a handfull of Spirulina along with a handfull of Chlorella (probably about 14 of each) every evening along with garlic pills. Seems like Spirulina and Chlorella seem to work best when taking both."
