"In my quest for optimal health, I have tried many types of specialized diets. Some of them were very beneficial for short term use, but they all shared a common disadvantage; the narrowly focussed diets left out many important nutrients, while those that included a wide range of foods typically didn't contain high enough concentrations of essential ingredients. So highly specialized, restrictive diets have not worked for me, in my everyday nutritional routine.
But my experience with specialized diets left me with a deep appreciation of the value of certain uncommon foods, particularly sea vegetables, blue green algae, probiotic organisms, barley and wheat grasses, and bee pollen products.
Swanson has included substantial amounts of all these items, along with a balanced blend of supporting herbs, in Super Green Max Plus (SWR024). I now include this formula with my daily supplements, so I can have the concentrated benefits of a specialized diet while eating my regular meals."
